Rice's hands are tied...
Condoleeza Rice wants to testify before the 9/11 commission, she really does...but the legal team at the White House won't let her. Apparently letting the National Security Advisor tell the truth under oath would jeapordize "executive priviledge", which begs the question: What is executive priviledge? In this context it seems to be the right reserved for government officials to not have to answer truthfully for their responsibilities.
