Reflections on my early life and origins

Hold on to this one for later:

As I just told you, my parents got divorced. But before that, I lived with them in a home they owned. As I said, it was the upper-middle-middle-class suburbs (as I like to call them) on Long Island. They sent me to private school for some bizarre reason - I honestly don’t know why, it’s not like we lived in the ghetto or they were rich.
