Eamon Duffy interview about JPII
PBS’s Frontline has a fascinating 2003 interview with Eamon Duffy, author of The Stripping of the Altars (see right sidebar) , which I’m in the middle of right now. The discussion was about Pope John Paul II, and contains some amazing insights about JP the Great, and the impact he has had on the Church and the world. The entire interview is “excerptable”, but here’s a wee comment that set the hairs up on the back of my neck:
