Always Sail, Never Drift
On October 28, 1958, Pope John XXIII was elected by the College of Cardinals as Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. Speaking of someone who didn't stay still and allowed changes! He doubled the number of cardinals, promoted diversity within the Catholic Church, launched a council for ecumenical dialogue and instituted Vatican II. He was beatified (mini-sainted) by Pope John Paul II in the year 2000. But don't forget, and Pope John XXIII would be the first to tell you this, you don't have to be Pope to change the world!
